Greek School - English Department

The Kalogeropoulos School

In 1997, the founder of COSKAL took the decision to build and donate an entire school building—comprising 36 classrooms—to the Greek Community of Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.

This generous contribution was made with a clear and heartfelt purpose: to establish an English section within the Greek School, welcoming students of all nationalities, ethnicities, and backgrounds.

The founder’s enduring vision was, and continues to be, to provide all students with access to high-quality education at an exceptionally affordable cost.

The school was fully self-funded, constructed, and donated by the founder of COSKAL, in loving memory of his parents.

Damot Gale Semi Earthen Dam

In collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens (Greek Polytechnic University), the COSKAL family made a significant financial contribution to help bring to completion the groundbreaking project of Ethiopia’s first semi-earthen dam.

Today, this vital infrastructure directly benefits more than 200,000 people, improving lives and supporting sustainable development across the region.
